BCI was founded by Patrick Bergman MA BPM BAcc, a highly experienced management consultant with over 20 years of experience, an authority in program and project management in an international context.

Patrick is a born researcher, pioneer, manager, and advisor with extensive experience in sustainable development (spatial planning, water management, innovation ecosystems, energy transition, and health)  in both Europe and developing countries). 

BCI focuses on high-quality subsidy, governance, and management consulting and offers the following services:

  • Research into subsidy opportunities around the broad theme of sustainability (for government, business, and innovation ecosystems, including both national and applicable European subsidies) and writing project plans, proposal writing;
  • Advice on program and project management (e.g., analyzing the progress of implementation in your organization and advising on improvement/acceleration/solving bottlenecks);
  • Policy research and advice, writing policy papers, project plans;
  • Investigating and preparing business cases around sustainability;
  • Interim project and program management of (international) projects;
  • Coaching / sparring partner for (junior) project and program managers.

BCI is a network organization and mobilizes, depending on the issue, substantive (technical) experts, and always maintains control over the assignment. References and experiences are therefore person- and/or team-bound.
